Apple Hong

What she ate: Cheese platter, cured meats and wine at The Cheese Artisans

Yummy factor: Always judge a cheese spread by the prosciutto serving size. And in case you were wondering, the Prosecco blue cheese was Apple’s favourite.

What he drank: “CLIMBING THE GREAT WALL TODAY. SO TIRED. SEND HELP. AND MILO PENG,” Nathan wrote. Sure enough, Milo Singapore then reached out and asked for Nathan’s address, which got him all excited for “Milo packets or tins, but got sent this super sketchy, unlabeled bottle instead.”

Yummy factor: Questionable packaging aside, the drink must have tasted fine because Nathan guzzled it all and asked Milo for 50 crates more. #milkingit

What he ate: Fries and a sandwich at Toasties in Our Tampines Hub

Yummy factor: Even though the food looks washed out by the filter here, made-to-order melty sandwiches and rosemary-sprinkled fries sound like the type of grub worth getting our fingers greasy for.

What she ate: Crepe with strawberries, chocolate sauce and whipped cream in Kyoto

Yummy factor: This crepe was served from a little van in the midst of Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Imagine strolling through all that beauty with a warm, crispy crepe in hand – no wonder Jacelyn was all smiles.

Jade Seah

What she ate: Chocolate chip cookies that she baked with Jamie Yeo and her daughter, Alysia

Yummy factor: Jade admitted that their cookies turned out more like “cookie cakes” but that they tasted yummy fresh out of the oven with a glass of milk. We’d suggest adding more chocolate chips next time.

Chua Enlai

What he ate: Breakfast by the beach

Yummy factor: Honestly, this looks like a pretty standard resort breakfast set, but you know what they say about ambience. Scarfed down by the Fiji waters, those eggs probably tasted 10 times better.

What she ate: Her daughter Jaymee’s Easter-themed birthday cake

Yummy factor: Could the cake be any cuter? It’s got imitation fur frosting AND it’s sporting matching bunny ears with the birthday girl herself.

What she ate: Mummy Kate Pang teared up when 10-month-old Avery successfully hand-fed herself kiwi and tangerine.

Yummy factor: Too sour? Not for Avery! She didn’t even drop a single piece.

What she ate: Grilled barrumundi in sweet and spicy tomato broth on a bed of cabbage, tofu skin, sliced tomatoes and white beech mushrooms at Lokkee

Yummy factor: We just sighed audibly – our craving’s that real. Wishing it was our face being hugged by that warm aromatic cloud.

What he ate:  Bak kut teh in KSL City in Johor Bahru

Yummy factor: Bak kut teh gets all the praise, but don’t underestimate side orders like pickled vegetables. Nothing complements flavourful pork broth like kiam chye.

What she ate: You tiao, soya bean milk and soup dumplings at Yong He Eating House

Yummy factor: “You and I go together like soya bean milk and you tiao,” Michelle captioned, quoting JJ Lin’s Dou Jiang You Tiao lyrics. We’re all for foodie pickup lines and fritters as crispy as this.

What she ate: High tea at the W Sentosa

Yummy factor: It must have been one important call if it distracted Sharon from this avalanche of sweets.

What he ate: Sliced fish beehoon soup right before the Star Awards

Yummy factor: No wimpy pre-Awards salad for Thomas. This is much better.

Sonia Chew

What she drank: Soup that had been double boiled for almost 10 hours

Yummy factor: Well if you’re only getting less than two sips’ worth of soup, at least it comes with a sprig of fresh flowers and a teacup pedestal in a bowl of mist. Guess that’s one way to make us savour every drop.

What she ate: Fishball noodles from Song Heng Fishball Noodles

Yummy factor:  When every individual noodle is lathered up in fragrant sour-spicy sauce as tasty as this, we’d tuck into the dish right quick.
