This Weekend: Visit The Night Festival

The annual event’s SG50 edition will be bigger and brighter than ever

Night owls, rejoice! This weekend and next, you won’t have to entertain yourselves after dark with yet another movie screening or car-washing trip to JB. The annual Singapore Night Festival is back – and this year’s eighth and SG50 edition promises more entertainment options than ever.

Here are eight highlights for you to flit around at.

1. The Anooki Celebrate Singapore

If there’s one #sgnightfest post you’ll put up this year, make it of this light installation by French graphic artists David Passegand and Moetu Batlle. In it, the “world’s smallest Inuits”, the Anooki, sing, dance and gleefully run riot across the façade of the National Museum. Think misbehaviour in its most adorable form – how irresistible!
