Veggie Dumplings Even A Carnivore Would Love! With some Sassy Chinese Salsa Verde
I thought of vegetarian dumplings right away because they’re meatless, steamed and very tasty. And I thought I could boost the wow factor and nutritional profile by using carrot juice to make the dough for the dumpling skins. And the salsa is there because it is a goes great with everything ;-). Just a shame my dumlings had to wait 30 minutes

Îles Flottantes with a Pandan Crème Anglaise
This is a super old school French dessert that I based my recipe on. Instead of the classic though, I gave it an Asian twist by poaching the meringues in coconut milk and made the sauce using Pandan juice for colour and flavour. In hindsight, I would have replaced the crème anglaise with a much healthier tropical fruit soup. Ah well, live and learn!
