Aileen Tan and Zheng Geping

Best Chinese New Year couple ensemble ever, with Geping dressing up as the God of Fortune for the first time during the CNY 2016 Live Show and Aileen donning a comfortable wrap dress.

When it comes to fashion, there’s creativity, and then there’s just plain confusion. Aloysius' outfit might have been from Coach, but the combination of that jacket, the animal print T-shirt, and the pants situation (one leg tucked in, and the other out? What?) makes this outfit look like it came straight off the discount rack at Forever 21.

While we loved all three of Bonnie’s low-maintenance CNY looks, the lime green two-piece from local designer Vaughn Tan is our favourite. What a refreshing take on Chinese New Year colours!

While we’d normally be inclined to give this uber-casual CNY look a “not”, after gorging on a year’s worth of bak kwa and pineapple tarts, we applaud Carrie for wearing something a bit more forgiving on the waistline.

Cheryl highlighted her youthful features by opting out of red and gold for a cheongsam-inspired bell dress in periwinkle blue.

We don’t know whether this outfit is too boring, or whether all the preservatives in our bak kwa have short-circuited our brains, but we have literally nothing to say about this look. At least the colour scheme is right?

It'd be hard to resist foisting a handful of hongbaos onto these little tykes. Brooklyn, Aden, Kyler, Luke, and Zed were by far the best dressed of the lot.
