Karlie Kloss is the new face of Swarovski.

The 23-year-old model - who made her fashion breakthrough at 14 years old when she graced the cover of Scene Magazine - has succeeded Miranda Kerr, who fronted the company for three years, as the new ambassador for the luxury jewellery brand.

Speaking about her latest fashion venture, Karlie said: "It's an honour to join the Swarovski family and to be part of the brand's long history of bringing elegance to women through brilliant, unique designs."

Karlie - who is currently dating Joshua Kushner - teased the news on Tuesday (24.05.16), with a string of photos via Instagram.

One post saw her grinning into a bathroom mirror as she wrote the campaigns slogan "Be Brilliant" in lipstick, with the caption: "Got some news today...#bebrilliant (sic)."

However, the blonde beauty struggles to pronounce the name of the fashion house.

Karlie uploaded a clip on her social media account of her broadcasting the news and her mis-pronounciation. She said: "Swarovski ... Swarovski. I am Karlie fricking Kloss and I am the face of Swarovski."

The post was captioned:"excited to be the face of@swarovski #bebrilliant (sic)."

Meanwhile, the Chicago-born star - who won the Inspiring Woman of the Year award at this year's Elle Style Awards - has revealed her busy schedule takes its toll and she tailors her daily beauty regime so she can get the optimum amount of sleep.

Speaking previously she explained: "I reckon [I spend] seven minutes on beauty. And then maybe another seven on choosing my outfit.

"I really love sleep, so I tend to do whatever I can to get a lie-in. I like to keep it simple with just the right amount of 'un-make-up make-up' - some cover-up, a flick of mascara and a bit of cream blush and I'm usually out of the door."
