Twiggy isn't ruling out cosmetic surgery

Supermodel Twiggy, 65, has confessed she isn't ruling out having cosmetic surgery in the future but is too scared to go under the knife at the moment.

Twiggy "might" have cosmetic surgery.

The 65-year-old model has admitted she would consider going under the knife in the future and isn't ruling out any procedures, although she is yet to have anything done because she is too scared.

She said: "I haven't had anything done yet. I'm not saying I won't - I might. That is my prerogative. All I will say is that if you want to have things done, just get somebody good! The other reason is that I'm a bit of a coward!"

Twiggy - whose real name is Lesley Lawson - added she is constantly looking in the mirror and worrying about signs of ageing.

She said: "[I think]'Oh God, I've got another wrinkle. There's no happy ending for that."

The fashion icon - who is celebrating 50 years in the industry this year - is a huge fan of model of the moment Cara Delevingne and confessed she just wanted to give the 22-year-old beauty a "hug".

She told the April edition of Good Housekeeping magazine: "There are lots of gorgeous girls, but it's not about that. Cara is so funny and sweet, you just want to hug her - she has so much personality. I think that's what happened with me. The other models were so breath-taking, but I wasn't really. I was funny and kooky."

The glamorous mother of one - who has her own fashion collection with department store Marks and Spencer - also shared her favourite style tips.

She said: "I am such a jeans girl, and skinny jeans are one of my Marks & Spencer's range bestsellers. I like them to go up to the waist - it's flattering and comfortable and holds your tummy in!"
