Zoe Saldana wants to encourage other mothers to get back into shape after having children.
The 37-year-old actress welcomed twins Bowie and Cy with husband Marco Perego in November 2014 and was so delighted to be able to fit back in to her costume from 'Guardians of the Galaxy' that she took to Instagram to share a picture and some words of inspiration.
She wrote: "Holy S---! You guys, I had to share this, this is one of the old #guardiansofthegalaxy costumes that I wore back in 2013. After twins I can't believe I was able to slip into this. @marvel and @jamesgunn don't be mad, I'm not showing anything that hasn't been seen before... besides, aren't we designing new stuff?.... It pays off to work hard! I mean it mommies of the world, if I did it you can too (sic)."
Zoe previously insisted she would not diet after the twins were born but was struggling to avoid junk food at the weekends.
She said: "By Friday I'm anxious about what I will have to do over the weekend to avoid breaking my diet. I find myself dreading the awesome family feast gatherings, friends inviting me over for a 'wine and dine' on Saturdays, and then of course Sunday brunch. WTF!!!
"So here is what I'm gonna start doing; I am going to remove the word 'diet' from my life. I am going to remind myself that it is not about losing weight, it is about being healthy, feeling healthy, for the rest of my life (sic)."
