German student lives on a train

A German student has chosen to live on a train after getting sick of landlords.

Leonie Müller, 23, decided to give up her permanent home in the spring after becoming disgruntled with the traditional property market and has instead taken to living on a train, reasoning that her £240 nationwide monthly season ticket is cheaper than paying rent.

She told the Washington Post newspaper: "It all started with a dispute I had with my landlord.

"I instantly decided I didn't want to live there any more - and then I realised: actually, I didn't want to live anywhere any more."
