Kensington Palace has released four official photos from Princess Charlotte christening on Sunday (July 5).

In one of the photos taken by the late Princess Diana’s favourite photographer Mario Testino, the princess is pictured with her mother and father, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and brother George.

The pictures were taken immediately after the fourth in line to the throne was christened at the Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate.

A Kensington Palace spokesman said: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their whole family had a wonderful day on Sunday and were delighted to share the special occasion with the thousands of people who came to Sandringham.

"They are very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do."

On Sunday, thousands of royal fans gathered on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate to catch a glimpse of Princess Charlotte..

The little royal arrived in a vintage pram pushed by her mum, Kate Middleton, while dad Prince William, and her older brother, Prince George, walked alongside it.

The nine-week-old princess wore the same gown Prince George did for his christening, a replica of the royal silk and lace christening gown made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, in 1841.

It was only the second time the newborn princess, who is fourth in line to the throne, has been seen in public since she was born on May 2.

The ceremony, which was held in the same church the princess' late grandmother Diana was baptised in, was private. Guests included the Queen, her husband Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Kate's family, as well as the five godparents the royal couple had chosen for the princess - Kate’s cousin Adam Middleton, the late Princess Diana's niece Laura Fellowes, friends of the royal couple, Sophie Carter, Thomas van Straubenzee and James Meade.

Prince Harry was not in attendance as he is currently on a conservation mission in Africa.
