Pick pockets in Torrelodones, Madrid, pinched a £2,000 inflatable faeces measuring nine feet in height, which was designed to stop animals from fouling in the street, according to the Mirror Online.

The blow-up excrement was deflated when it was nabbed from the Spanish town, which left the local councillor Ángel Guirao stunned by the behaviour, and hoped it was a joke and the campaign prop would return.

However, a £2,000 replica has been ordered to replace the missing inflatable and to continue their anti-dog poop measures.
