If you wanna get your fingers on this limited edition Dragon Playground mini LEGO set, better hurry. The figurine is one of four Singapore Icons Mini Builds (which also include the Cable Car, Ice Cream Bike and HDB Flat) produced by Lego to commemorate SG50, and can be redeemed with a minimum spend of $50 on Lego products, while stocks last.

Also, from July 21 to 30, you can help a Lego professional build an 8.5-foot Dragon Playground at a shopping mall, and from July 10, check out the winners of the Lego Rebuild Your Memories competition on Lego’s Facebook page, which features the 10 best Lego creations with a nostalgic Singapore theme.

Sweeeet! Candy store CANDYLICIOUS has gone all out for SG50 and introduced a sugary plethora of Singapore-themed goodies in their stores, including a rainbow-hued Merlion plush toy ($29), Singapore Mix Candy ($15.90, which includes a kopi flavour) and a sweet dispenser with a Merlion head ($6). But our fave is the Singapore Tic Tac ($6), which features a logo of the Merlion made of Tic Tacs. Talk about a sweet souvenir.

3. Be envious of Lady Gaga’s dog

Miss Asia Kinney (we love that she has the surname of her daddy — actor Taylor Kinney, aka Mr Lady Gaga) has a better life than you. She travels in private jets, wears accessories more expensive than your HDB flat and carries designer handbags. And now, the fab French Bulldog is starring in a new campaign by COACH called Coach Pups, which features pampered pooches modelling Coach’s Fall 2015 bags. It’s a dog’s life, alright.

4. Let the sweet smell of Korea permeate your home

Say “annyeong-haseyo” to scented candles, diffusers and perfumed body water from Korean brand INNISFREE, which launched their home scent range in conjunction with the opening of their largest store in VivoCity. The sprawling space promises a “sensorial, immersive experience”, as well as a soap-making zone, where you can mould your own soaps (in the likeness of brand ambassador Lee Min Ho, maybe?).

Check out Innisfree at VivoCity and other locations.
