1. Go big or go ‘ohm’

It’s all about holistic goodness at The Big Ohm Theory, a weekend market on April 18-19 at the National Design Centre. Expect nature-inspired lifestyle products such as pop-coloured bamboo tableware from Glambue (above), food and drinks with a natural and organic bent, as well as reiki, meditation, flower arrangement and coffee workshops (which you can sign up for at www.thebigohmtheory.com). There’ll be plenty to eat, drink, buy and go “Ohm My Goodness!” over. Admission is free.

2. Get eyeshadow palettes that look like pretty notebooks

The first eyeshadow collection from Tory Burch comes in the form of three vintage-flavoured ‘book’ compacts ($95 each) that you’ll want to carry everywhere. Cat’s Meow is a softly glamorous palette featuring radiant taupes and inky blue-violets, while Pas du Tout and Catch feature warm neutrals and feminine mauves respectively. We’ll be adding these to our make-up library.

3. Drink all-natural soda pulled from the tap

Defying all laws of soft drinks is Citizen Pop, freshly-squeezed fruit soda which is all-natural, with no artificial flavouring or preservatives. Started by two friends who wanted an alternative to excessively-sweet sodas filled with sugar and fake flavours, these fizzy perk-you-ups are available in bottles (order at Citizenpop.com.sg) and on draft at The Big Ohm Theory (a weekend market on April 18-19 at the National Design Centre). Fizzy hibiscus mint and lemon rosemary fresh and sparkling from the tap? Yes, please.

4. Carry a ‘dance bag’

Re-igniting our unfulfilled dreams of being prima donnas is Repetto’s classic Cabriole or dance bag, inspired by the functional demands of ballet dancers. That this blush-hued calfskin beauty can be worn four different ways only fuels our desperate obsession with it — carry it as a backpack, a cross-shoulder bag, a shoulder hobo or a hand-carry tote, thanks to straps that are fixed with snap hooks. It even comes with exchangeable satin ribbons. Is it too late for us to start hitting the barre?

$1,350 from Repetto stores.
