How to identify immature boys
How many times have the men you've fallen for turned out to be boys? Don't be fooled, just because someone is already your age or even older, it doesn't mean that he's reached the same level of maturity. So how can you tell if you are dating a man or a boy? Here are some surefire signs.
He doesn't know what he wants
A mature man should know exactly what he wants, both in life and in love. He shouldn't have time to give you mixed signals and keep you wondering whether he really likes you or not. He should also know what he wants to do in the future and actually go for it, instead of laze around and complain about his life.
He's always insecure
An immature boy gets jealous for no reason and always needs you to keep saying how much you love him. No matter what you say and how you act, he never seems to get over his own insecurities and distrust for you. Sure, you might be able to cater to his needs and make him feel better from time to time, but soon you'll find that he wouldn't do the same for you.
He's intimidated by strong women
A confident man shouldn't have any issues dealing with independent, intelligent, and compassionate women. An immature boy cannot handle being with a woman who he can't control and manipulate, so he often looks for similarly insecure girls that lack self respect.
He doesn't own up to his mistakes
Instead of facing his mistakes and their consequences, an immature boy will blame you or anyone else for every single thing that goes wrong in his life. Thanks to his huge ego and zero responsibility, he considers saying sorry as something too embarrassing to admit, even if he did do something wrong!
He's afraid of commitment
A mature man will stay by your side, through the thick and thin of your relationship. An immature boy only wants to have fun and will avoid uncomfortable conversations about your personal problems. You can't expect a boy to even think about, let alone take part in your wedding planning or any future plans you have together.
