Adding plenty of glitz and sparkle to Orchard Road are Bvlgari’s visually-stunning Serpenti necklace light sculpture - a scaled-up version of the jeweller’s iconic necklace - and 18.5 metre-tall interactive Fireworks Tree outside the mall. Consisting of 100 “fireworks”, shoppers can change the colours of the Christmas tree via the BVL - Fireworks app. Groovy.

Bugis+

Not the most Christmassy, but these larger-than-life installations of Brown and co are too cute to pass up. Dotted across 13 CapitaLand malls, the installations are part of the Line Friends World Tour exhibition which features the gang in iconic landmarks around the world. Our favourite is the one at Bugis+ where you will find Brown dressed up as a Merlion and Choco as a Samsui woman.

Want to take them home with you? You can get limited-edition Brown plushies at Line Friends pop-up stores at Bugis+, Funan, JCube, Junction 8, Lot One, Tampines Mall, The Star Vista, and Westgate with a minimum spend of $240, or charge $220 to your American Express CapitaCard (maximum of three same-day combined receipts from the same mall). If you’re shopping at JCube or The Star Vista, spend at least $180 or charge $160 to an American Express CapitaCard with a maximum of three same-day same-mall combined receipts (while stocks last).

Over at Jurong Point, the spotlight is on Doraemon. Apart from this oh-so-adorbs Christmas tree adorned with plushies (it’s too bad you can’t buy them), there are also art workshops and a Doraemon inflatable playground for the kids. Want to see what the robo-cat has up its sleeve, or in this case, its magic pocket? Be sure to catch it at the meet-and-greet sessions. More info here.

Coach’s 16 metre-tall walk-in Christmas tree at the corner of Stamford Road and North Bridge Road is impossible to miss. Featuring a glittery mountain-scape exterior, guests will be treated to an immersive experience once they enter the tree with holiday motifs reflecting off LED floor panels and bouncing off mirrored walls and ceilings. As for the brand’s cute mascot Rexy, you’ll find the neon-lit dino at the main entrance of the mall.

Tanglin Mall

Tanglin Mall is known for its show-stopping decorations and “snow” during Christmas, and this year it is no different. The entrance of the mall has transformed into a charming Christmas garden, complete with a grand Christmas tree, giant baubles, and bird cage gazebos - another ideal spot for proposals and lovey dovey shots. Best photo ops are during snow times at 7.45pm daily, when it is covered in a layer of white. Additional snow falls at 8.45pm on weekends and public holidays.
