Julai Tan

Last year we had rocker granny Mary Ho, this year keep your eyes and ears peeled for veteran violinist Julai Tan. At 93, Julai is the oldest performer at this year’s NDP. Julai, who will be performing a Bach piece, Air on the G String, and accompanied on the organ by jazz musician Jeremy Monteiro, hopes his NDP appearance can help to inspire others, especially the elderly, to pursue their passion.

Catch the National Day Parade live on Channel 5 and online at Toggle.sg/ndp2018 on August 9 from 5.35pm. Catch-up videos of NDP 2018 and other NDP-related programmes will also be available on Toggle.
