Fresh Vitamin Nectar Glow Juice Antioxidant Face Serum, $45

Inspired by cold-pressed juices, this nutritious serum - packed with Coconut Oil, Vitamins B5, C and E, Beta-carotene, Ginger Water and even Chicory Root juice - protects the skin, keeping it strong and resilient.

We really appreciate the lightweight texture because it absorbs fast and doesn’t leave skin feeling tacky - a great plus in Singapore’s humidity. It also makes it perfect for layering with other targeted serums - brightening or firming, depending on your skin’s concerns. After a week, our complexion started looking healthier and radiant too.

Available at Fresh boutiques and Sephora stores.

Ryo Hair Loss Care Scalp Deep Cleansing Scaler EX, $19.9
Ryo Hair Loss Care Scalp Deep Cleansing Scaler EX, $19.9

Ryo Hair Loss Care Scalp Deep Cleansing Scaler EX, $19.9

Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp, so keeping your scalp clean is equally important. To do so, this pre-shampoo treatment contains BHA-derived ingredients to get rid of impurities and excess sebum on the scalp, while the use of GinsenEXTM nourishes and strengthens the hair from root to tip.

Used once to twice a week as a deep cleanse, it leaves our scalps feeling clean and fresh, and makes hair feel lighter too. We like how it’s still gentle and doesn’t irritate the scalp too. Plus, the minty effect it leaves on the scalp is also a great pick-me-up in the mornings.

Available exclusively at Guardian Pharmacy stores.

AHC Black Rose Facial Ampoule Mask and Black Pearl Facial Ampoule Mask, $27.50 (box of 5 sheets)

Each mask is made from 100 per cent Coconut Charcoal so it not only feels soft on the skin but also has added purifying effects to clear up the skin at the same time. The Black Rose soothes and infuses the skin with hydration through the use of Rosa Damascena extract, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid, while the Black Pearl brightens the complexion with Vitamin C, and Pearl and Schisandra Chinesis fruit extracts.

Even though each mask contains an ampoule’s worth of essence, it was not dripping wet during application. Our fave between the two? The Black Pearl as it leaves complexion looking supple and glowing just after 15 minutes. Tip: Use it just before any special occasion as a radiance booster.

Like it’s liquid foundation counterpart, the cushion foundation blends easily into the skin, for a natural looking finish, despite coming with a full coverage tag. Shiseido Complete Cleansing Microfoam and Revitalizing Treatment Softener, $58 and $125 respectively
Shiseido Complete Cleansing Microfoam and Revitalizing Treatment Softener, $58 and $125 respectively

Shiseido Complete Cleansing Microfoam and Revitalizing Treatment Softener, $58 and $125 respectively

Healthy skin starts with clean skin. The cleanser promises to thoroughly remove impurities, pollution particles and even makeup thanks to its combination of oil and water properties, while the softener boosts skin’s moisture levels and reinforces its defences.

For stubborn makeup, we used the cleanser on dry skin and it cleaned away all traces, except for some bits of waterproof mascara, easily. Best bit? It didn’t dry out our skin. The softener absorbed well and left skin feeling soft and supple. It also helped plump up some of our fine lines, leaving our complexion looking smoother too.

Available at Shiseido counters and Sephora stores.
