Fann Wong, Christopher Lee and Zed

What they ate: Dim sum during a workshop at Crystal Jade

Yummy factor: Now isn't this a great idea for family bonding? Christopher made a pink bun that was supposed to look like Zed (but Fann thought it resembled Christopher). We just think it looks like a strawberry.

Nathan Hartono

What he ate: In Bangkok, Nathan scarfed down fried rice “that was way too spicy for 9am”

Yummy factor: “My mouth is grateful, my bowels are anxious,” Nathan captioned. Yep, that’s Thai street food in a nutshell.

What she ate: A drastically belated chocolate birthday cake (her birthday was on April 22)

Yummy factor: “People have to stop giving me cake! It’s May! My birthday month is over!” Michelle mock-complained. This is one of the reasons we love her.

What she ate: Omakase dinner at Sushi Jiro

Yummy factor: Why yes, we’d love some edible gold flakes on our caviar-topped uni and ikura. Too bad we’ll have to wait for a raise before we try it.

What she ate: Joanne celebrated Labour Day with her fan club, who presented her with a belated birthday cake.

Yummy factor: We’ve been seeing unicorn cakes everywhere but their adorable appeal never gets old. Just look at that gold unicorn horn and those pretty coloured swirls.

What he ate: A Sunday picnic with his co-stars including with Felicia Chin, Nat Ho, and Kishan J

Yummy factor: With cast members and a picnic this awesome (note the champagne), we wouldn't even mind eating under the scorching sun.

What he ate: Old Chang Kee’s curry puff, a treat from Jeanette Aw

Yummy factor: We love snacks that come in a paper sleeve. This lip-smacking quick bite is as tasty as it is convenient to eat.

What she ate: Belinda didn’t eat this herself, but she cooked this hot meal for a friend who just underwent surgery.

Yummy factor: This beats hospital food by a mile. Props for the sleek stackable bento boxes too.

Dasmond Koh

What he ate: Tea and a pastry in Paris

Yummy factor: Is this some sort of gourmet hot dog bun? Dasmond, you can basically get the same here in Singapore. Granted, BreadTalk doesn’t boast fabulous wallpaper like this café…

What she ate: BlackBall shaved ice dessert with chewy yam balls, glass jelly and pearls in Taiwan

Yummy factor: Multi-tasking like a boss, Fann Wong wrote, “Eating is happiness and carrying is happiness.” Not having to share one’s delicious dessert is happiness too.

What she ate: Lunch with Jack Neo's wife Irene Kng at Wild Honey at Scotts Square

Yummy factor: The smoked salmon-wrapped poached eggs look enticing but that whole wheat brioche could stand a little toasting.

Derrick Hoh

What he ate: Japanese food in Taiwan

Yummy factor: “Stay calm and get fat,” Derrick wrote. Um…getting fat on sashimi salad is going to cost him lots of money and effort.

Jacelyn Tay

What she ate: Labour day lunch

Yummy factor: Cheesy bruschetta with generous toppings always hits the spot. It’s easier to hold it with your fingers instead of using a knife and fork, but maybe Jacelyn’s too refined for that.

What she ate: A cake to celebrate her 18th birthday

Yummy factor: This simple, modestly sized cake might not be what you’d expect for the big 1-8, but oh how this girl is showered with love and kisses. Happy birthday, Yixin!

What he ate: His 33rd birthday cakes

Yummy factor: “No fancy party” for his birthday, but these sure are fancy cakes. We’ve always wondered what it’s like to eat a slice of your own face. Happy birthday, Darryl!

Kate Pang

Kate Pang

What she ate: First breakfast in Dubai with family, sans hubby Andie Chen, who was sick in bed.

Yummy factor: We spot pancakes and pastries, fail-safe breakfast items. Kate hilariously hashtagged, “Oh no, what to do – when we don’t have daddy we still have a happy time.” Looks like Andie was not-so-greatly missed, heh.

What she ate: Iced latte and a pastry

Yummy factor: Through the roof cos let's face it, when you order a drink with 3D latte art, you're more interested in the froth than the brew, and this bear is too adorbs to destroy.

Liv Lo and Henry Golding

What they ate: Lesbian bánh mì from Bánh Mì Huỳnh Hoa and street side pho in Saigon

Yummy factor: “Soft and warm on the inside, crunchy on the outside,” the lesbian bánh mì was deemed “perfection” by Liv. In case you’re wondering about the name, Liv explained that the store was opened by a lesbian couple, and originally staffed by an all-lesbian workforce. Another curious tidbit: You’re supposed to squash the baguette sandwich flat before you eat it.

What she ate: Petite Abbie Cake in French Rose from Crème Maison Bakery for Mother’s Day

Yummy factor: The roses on the frosting look like they were handpainted with watercolour. It’s a fancy cake all right, with lychee chunks and macarons.

What she ate: Fried rice cooked by mama Hong Hui Fang, because “no matter how busy mum is, she would still find time to prepare lunch for us.”

Yummy factor: On the one hand, this is very sweet and heartwarming. On the other hand, greasy fried rice in the car? Mind the leather please.

What she ate: Popsicles with her sister along Shi Fen Old Street in Taiwan

Yummy factor:  These local creamy popsicles must have been a delightful treat as the sisters explored the marketplace lanes and alleys. Hope they tried many more xiao chi street snacks along the way.

Zong Zijie

What he ate: Ice cream, bananas, and heart-shaped marshmallows on a charcoal waffle

Yummy factor: Someone was having serious sugar cravings. As loaded with toppings as it is, this waffle dish doesn’t appear very photogenic here – but Zijie sure is.
