What the stars ate this week

The foodie lineup this week gave us plenty to drool over, from Fann Wong, Christopher Lee and Zed's extravagant seafood feast, to Li Nanxing's edible Christmas cake, to all the sweet treats Ya Hui and Chen Liping indulged in in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Fiona Xie shared a cookie with an adorable animal friend, Dennis Chew and Rui En got us all curious about their mysterious coconut dish, and can someone let Pierre Png host a food programme already?

What he ate: An edible Christmas tree made out of popcorn chicken, gyoza, drumlets and more

Yummy factor: A tree made up of our favourite fried food is truly a Christmas miracle. Forget the real one, we’d like to see presents under this tree please.

What they ate: Seafood feast under the sea in Sanya

Yummy factor: The Lees sure are livin' it up in Sanya. If lunch is this extravagant, we can't imagine what they will have for dinner.

Yummy factor: It’s a little much for breakfast but that saucy wonton mee and nasi lemak look lip smackingly good. BRB, making reservations for this weekend.

What he ate: Dinner with Rui En

Yummy factor: Is that a marble sphere? Dragon fruit? We need to find out what was it in that coconut that got Rui En this exhilarated.

What he ate: Chendol and char kway teow in Penang

Yummy factor: Sure the food look delish but can we draw your attention to Pierre’s multitude of expressions. He should seriously consider becoming a TV food critic.

Diya Tan

What she ate: Diya ironed herself up a grilled ham and cheese sandwich

Yummy factor: We've always been skeptical of this food hack but check out the lovely brown colour and melted gooey cheese on this one. The cheese pull is the icing on the cake, erm we mean toast.

What she ate: The last piece of fried chicken from her son Brayden’s first cooked meal for his brothers

Yummy factor: Awww how sweet was Brayden to step up and cook for his siblings when mum and dad were out on a dinner date. Zoe seemed a little disappointed that she only got to try one piece but don’t worry, we’re sure there’s more to come!

What he ate: A “crazy” dinner that included caviar in frozen macaron and “dangerous lamb” in Tokyo

Yummy factor: We oohed and ahhed as we saw snippets of Noah’s 14-course “science experiment” of a dinner, which he proclaimed the best meal of his life. No doubt it was a feast for the palate and also the eyes, but we’re not sure about dining with weapons.

Pornsak

What he ate: The "Best burger of 2018" at a Christmas market in Germany

Yummy factor: Our tummies grumbled at the sight of Pornsak chomping into his burger and the giant turkeys roasting on an open spit. It's almost unfair how closely he's holding it to the lens. What a tease.

What he ate: Luke's lobster roll

Yummy factor: Look who was caught trying to take kawaii selfies with his lobster roll? A word of advice, Thomas. Eat it while it's fresh. The last thing you want is for that precious lobster roll that you queued up for to turn soggy.
