Zoe Tay
What she ate: Matcha soft serve
Yummy factor: Much to the delight of matcha fanatics everywhere, this soft serve’s rich, deep green hue suggests that the green tea flavour is more than subtle.

Thomas Ong
What he ate: Sharon gifted Thomas homemade pineapple tarts by her mum
Yummy factor: “Thank you for disrupting my dieting plan (if there’s one to begin with),” Thomas captioned. Eh just give up already Thomas. Chinese New Year is right around the corner anyway, and we’d say these hand delivered goodies are an excellent start to a diet-busting journey.

Felicia Chin
What she ate: “Today’s home delivery: chilled longans peels by Jeffrey Xu cos a few days ago, I asked him to help me take some grapes and longan from the buffet table and he kept that in his heart,” Felicia wrote.
Yummy factor: Sad to say but even our own mother stopped peeling longans for us a long time ago. Jeffrey is one in a million and if we were Felicia we would mummify these longans as a keepsake.

Derrick Hoh
What he ate: A huge pineapple tart
Yummy factor: They sure didn’t skimp on the pineapple filling. Just one slice of this densely packed ong lai (“prosperity come”) tart would fill us up. Well maybe not hungry Derrick who, by the way, looks like the spitting image of that bug-eyed open-mouthed gif.

Desmond Tan
What he ate: This might look like a “bleh” egg wrap roll but it’s actually Desmond’s DIY sushi with prawn roe, roasted mushroom, shredded chicken, sweet corn, and roast beef on a brown rice base.
Yummy factor: As impressive as his DIY sushi sounds, we were distracted by Carrie Wong’s goofy dance moves while they ate. “My mama told me that eating time is not dancing time,” Desmond pretended to scold over a barely contained smile.

Elvin Ng
What he ate: Poodle-shaped yu sheng set and the Golden Prosperous Dog (dog-shaped salt crust encasing lotus-leaf wrapped ham, abalone, sea cucumbers and chestnuts) from Peony Jade
Yummy factor: The beehoon poodle is cute but anyone else think that other creature looks like a cross between a pig and a dog? Props for the creativity though.

Michelle Chia
What she ate: Durian with friend and actress Cynthia Lee MacQuarrie
Yummy factor: There are two kinds of Singaporeans. Those who go on coffee dates, and those who live for durian dates. Guess which one Michelle is.

Cynthia Koh
What she ate: An early Chinese New Year dinner at Jade at the Fullerton Hotel with her friends including Michelle Chia and Michelle Chong
Yummy factor: The stewed pork belly with CNY-themed man tou was just one out of the many sumptuous, festive dishes these ladies enjoyed (including a steamed grouper fish and yu sheng). Oh the joy of being friends with like-minded foodies. No wonder Cynthia hashtagged “friendship goals.”

Muttons
What they ate: Tendon (tempura donburi) from Kohaku’s latest outlet at Chinatown Point
Yummy factor: Oh, crunchy tempura teamed with fat ikura balls bursting in your mouth. Who would say no to that?

Chua Enlai
What he ate: As he was filming nearby, Enlai enjoyed a work lunch of bak chor mee and meatball soup from Michelin-starred Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle. Still had to queue for an hour though.
Yummy factor: Check out the generous helping of tender liver slices heaped atop those springy, sauce-drenched noodles. Bet Enlai was fully recharged after this delectable meal.

Henry Golding
What he ate: A chocolate cake to ring in his 31st birthday with wifey Liv Lo
Yummy factor: “Well that’s it, 31. Definitely into my 30’s now…” Thank you Henry for not citing the corny “31 is the new 21” line. Way to go against the grain too with a miminamlist cake, no showy toppings standing between you and the chocolate.

Jeffrey Xu
What he ate: Chocolate mousse cake from Felicia to celebrate their second anniversary
Yummy factor: Aww, proof that they’re the mousse-t adorable couple. Here’s to hoping there will more anniversaries to come.

Alfred Sim
What he ate: Bak kwa which he succeeded in grilling after five tries
Yummy factor: We know Alfred is a good cook but this is a whole other level. Let's hope they distributed some to their neighbours who had to put up with the smoke from the bak kwa BBQ!

Nat Ho
What he ate: Cuttlefish strips
Yummy factor: We’re always perplexed by people who eat cuttlefish strips ONE at a time. Who has the self-control for that? For maximum satisfaction, one needs to devour them at least three at a time like Nat, if not by the handful.

Noah Yap
What he ate: When his flight to KL got cancelled, Noah was on the brink of tears (pretty much) about not getting his lok lok fix. Once he finally arrived, lok lok time it was.
Yummy factor: He singlehandedly demolished 10 sticks so that says enough.

Ya Hui
What she cooked: Ya Hui prepared and served numerous noodles for a charity drive. Celeb friends Felicia Chin, Jeffrey Xu, and Chen Liping showed up for lunch to give their support.
Yummy factor: Tummies full and hearts happy. The thumbs up signs say it all.

Zhang Zhen Huan
What he ate: Rainbow cake, which Zhen Huan helped himself to while filming upcoming drama Hope is Here.
Yummy factor: As drool-worthy as this cake looks, we were more impressed by Zhen Huan's on point cake-slicing skills. We would never be able to slice cakes this thinly and neatly, especially when it's stacked up three tiers high.

Pan Lingling and Dennis Chew
What they drank: Celebratory drinks (with cute star stirrers to boot) with their 118 family
Yummy factor: Looks like the drinks were lip lickin’ good.

Michelle Wong
What she ate: Nutella Brownie Cheesecake Softserve from Moosh
Yummy factor: Chocolate lovers, we dare you to read the name of this softserve and not gulp with longing.

Tay Kewei
What she ate: Hot pot at home because “sorry guys can’t wait for CNY”
Yummy factor: If their preliminary steamboat is already this delicious (lookin’ at you, marbled meat slices), can you imagine what they’ll be serving up when it’s actually Chinese New Year?
Instagram/@keweitay

Xie Jia Fa
What he ate: Pineapple tart as big as his face
Yummy factor: This fa (“prosper”) lattice top makes this auspicious tart a cut above the rest.
