Shaun Chen

What he ate: After a workout, Shaun treated himself to big bowl of curry mee, which he dubbed the best in Ipoh.

Yummy factor: Bad news Shaun. We think you just ate back those calories that you burned. On the bright side, it's the best in Ipoh so it's worth it.

What he ate: A meat patty and veggies in Paphos Harbour, Cyprus

Yummy factor: We know the meat patty is flavourful and hearty, but going by looks and shape alone, it’s not that appetising. At least it’s drenched in gravy.

What she ate: Pig's blood

Yummy factor: It may sound gross but these babies, which actually taste like chewy tofu, are the bomb when cooked in with mala.

What she ate: Udon with her bare hands

Yummy factor: Madly stuffing your face with udon is something only kids can pass off as cute. Someone start a hashtag campaign for the Chen kids’ eating expressions already.

What he ate: His birthday cake

Yummy factor: A rich and decadent cake befitting the birthday boy – and with exactly eight candles, we hope his wish has a bigger chance of coming true. Happy 28th birthday, Chase!

What she ate: Stinky tofu at Tun Hua Street in Taiwan

Yummy factor: “It’s not only tasty, it’s also easy to eat on-the-go,” Xiuhuan wrote. Yeah, not sure if that’s going to convince anti-stinky tofu people to give the putrid street snack a try. It’s like durian: you either get past the odor or you don’t.

What she ate: Liver noodle soup at Balestier Bak Kut Teh

Yummy factor: And here we have more polarising grub – you either like liver or you think it tastes downright sinister. Common complaints: too gamey; tastes like iron; too grainy in texture… But if anything, at least the soup here looks delicious.

Oon Shu An

What she ate: Shu An looked beside herself with happiness at this table overflowing with candies, lollipops, jellybeans, and even a glass of wine.

Yummy factor: Is this at some kid’s birthday party? That would explain the sweets – and the wine (basically a necessity for adults trying to survive a kids’ gathering).

Ang Jun Yang, Candyce Toh and Azalea Ang

What they ate: Azalea’s birthday cakes

Yummy factor: (Left) Azalea, looking completely unimpressed: Are you kidding? A fruitcake? (Right) Azalea: That’s more like it. PJ Masks is key.

What she drank: A smoothie of sorts

Yummy factor: This richly-hued drink is enticing but what's got us interested is the eco-friendly straw that's made of steel. Pray tell where we can get our hands on one.

Sharon Au and Tanya Chua

What they ate: Lunch in Paris

Yummy factor: After Tanya surprised Sharon with freshly baked pastries in Paris last week, they met up for a gals' meal this week, complete with wine and what was undoubtedly exquisite Parisian cuisine. Bon appetit!

What they ate: Sushi in Taiwan

Yummy factor: Here's another celebs' reunion overseas that's got us smiling. It looks like these two delighted in the uni as much as each other's company.

What he ate: Even if Shaun didn’t eat these baked goodies on the set of Blessings 2, he kneaded and rolled the dough.

Yummy factor: Shaun’s #saltbae move, flicking flour instead of salt, cracked us up, especially when it was followed by a smoldering gaze. No matter what ended up being baked we’d want a bite.

Chua Enlai

What he ate: A meal in his overwater bungalow at Le Méridien Bora Bora. And although he didn’t actually eat the stingray swimming nearby, we laughed when he wrote “sambal” at the sight of them.

Yummy factor: Someone’s living the vacay high life. The breakfast tray looks so cool “suspended” over the ocean like that, we can almost overlook how mediocre the food is itself.

Shane Pow

Shane Pow

What he ate: In this paid partnership with 100 Plus, Shane took sips of the drink as he helped himself to a tin of old school butter cookies.

Yummy factor: TBH we’re not totally convinced of a sports-drink-and-cookies flavour pairing – call us traditionalists but coffee or tea still seems more fitting. Still, Shane looks jolly.

What she ate: A J-shaped cake, decorated with macarons and flowers, from Cream and Custard

Yummy factor: We know how poor Biscuit feels in the corner, pining for a bite of this cake that’s almost too pretty to eat.

What she ate: Seafood, vegetables, durian pizza, and durian fried rice from Escape Restaurant and Lounge at One Farrer Hotel

Yummy factor: Eggy fried rice laced with the pungent “fragrance” of durian sounds like an interesting combination. If anything, at least there’s ample seafood in the dish, including scallop, squid and prawn.

What he ate: Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet and milk tea in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Yummy factor: If you go to a night market in Taiwan without one of each in your hand, you’re missing out. The enormous size of a xiang ji pai coupled with its insane crispiness, seasoned with their game-changing salt and white pepper seasoning, is enough to make anyone drool. We love how it’s served in an unassuming paper sleeve for on-the-go nibbling.

What she ate: Tea, coffee, and pie whilst working on her laptop

Yummy factor: “Excited cos I found a matching emoji for EVERYTHING I’m having!!” Michelle wrote. Even if the food is quite ordinary, we smiled because we could totally relate with her emoji excitement here.

What she ate: Ice kachang with chocolate sauce

Yummy factor: “Mmm…tastes like chocolate ice cream,” Pat said, and fooled no one. But this may be a tolerable alternative if you’re looking for diet chocolate or something.

Xia Jia Fa

Xia Jia Fa

What he ate: BreadTalk’s “messy bun,” one of the many iterations of the “dirty bread” trend in Singapore (inspired by Taiwan’s zhang zhang bao)

Yummy factor: The chocolate powder and chocolate cream filling completely coated Jia Fa’s teeth but he gave us his best smile anyway. Looked like he didn’t mind the mess one bit.

Allan Wu

Allan Wu

What he ate: Pepperoni explosion on pizza

Yummy factor: Wow, there are enough toppings here for three pizzas. Might be a bit much, but when most of Allan’s posts show off his ripped bod, it’s a no-brainer that he’d work all these calories right off.

Gerald Koh

What he ate: Gerald made this chocolate Easter cake. Wow, right?

Yummy factor: This might be the cutest Easter dessert we’ve seen – especially with a nest full of chocolate eggs.

What she ate: Gelato from Birds of Paradise

Yummy factor: Count on this gelato boutique to come up with innovative flavours. Yasminne’s scoop (possibly White Chrysanthemum) looks refreshing but it's the basil-flavoured cones that’s got our attention.

What he ate: High tea at a nautical-themed restaurant on a Monday

Yummy factor: Ah, living the high tea tai-tai life on a Monday is one way to feel better about the start of the week.

Hazelle Teo

Hazelle Teo

What she ate: Roasted meats from the food centre at Block 46 Holland Drive

Yummy factor: Hazelle posted a series of stories raving about the food here but we could already tell, based on the succulent meats drenched in sauce. She’d like fans of herbal duck to know that the duck here is infused with dang gui (Angelica herb) too. Healthy and delish!
