What they ate: Steamboat for Dawn’s belated birthday dinner

Yummy factor: A steamboat sesh is one of those fail-safe birthday treat ideas because you can keep topping up ingredients. Girl friends who overeat together stay together.

What she ate: Taiwanese sausage

Yummy factor: No trip to Taiwan is complete without indulging in these greasy, fatty sausages-on-sticks that are rich in flavour (the secret being that they’re a little bit sweet).

Joanne Peh

Joanne Peh

What she drank: A treat from Romeo Tan, who bought her and the crew drinks when they were out filming because it was such a hot day.

Yummy factor: That Romeo sure knows how to win over everyone's hearts. Who knows, some people may have suffered a heat stroke had Romeo not saved them with his ai xin drink.

What she drank: Tea with Dennis Chew and friends

Yummy factor: Forget the tea. We want to know where to score those massive mugs that look like props straight out of Central Perk in Friends.

What he ate: Deep-fried whole flounder at Taste Singapore

Yummy factor: Sculptural flounder presentation aside, Nanxing recommended this dish for how fresh it was. It certainly helps that it looks ultra crispy.

What he ate: Fried noodles while filming

Yummy factor: Joanne Peh shared that her most dreaded scenes are eating scenes. Romeo came to the rescue with some hilarious diva excuses to avoid eating while filming: “It has vegetables? I won’t eat. Has carrots? I won’t eat. No ham? I won’t eat. Too much fish? Too salty, too sweet, too much carbs? I won’t eat.” But then… Joanne caught him nibbling later. Guess the food passed all his fake criteria, heh.

What they ate: Italian food, pizza, fries and wine

Yummy factor: “Hot hot hot!” Pornsak exclaimed in his Instagram story, followed by “No, not the fries…My dinner partner!” Pizza, fries and wine are the glue that holds friendships together.

What she ate: Pizza, salad, skewers, and drinks by the beach with Michelle Wong and Zhang Yao Dong

Yummy factor: The pizza appears a bit too doughy if that makes sense, but we breathed a sigh of relief upon sighting Tabasco sauce, which has the power to salvage any and all mediocre grub. Also let's not forget that this was devoured on the beach, with the relaxing sound of waves in the backdrop.

What he ate: Katsu and onsen tamago rice bowl at Café Muji followed by steak at Kai Sushi & Robatayaki--which were responsible for the evening run

Yummy factor: A totally relatable course of events. At least the food looked worth it.

Yasminne Cheng

What she ate: Hot pot at the recently opened Spice World Hot Pot, which came with a Barbie Wagyu reminiscent of Lady Gaga in her meat dress, and a mala teddy bear

Yummy factor: “Slightly morbid but oh so fun and very Instagram worthy,” Yasminne wrote about the mala teddy bear that melted in the soup, though the flavour was rather bland for her. The Barbie Wagyu, on the other hand, was a hit, and Yasminne suggested a Ken Doll version too (“you know for us ladies!”).

What he ate: Light to dark beer at 4 Pines Brewing Company and fresh oysters at Devils Corner in Australia

Yummy factor: Maybe it’s the crazy hot weather lately, but the thought of guzzling ice cold beer with slurp-worthy, gooey oysters sounds more tempting than ever.

Chantalle Ng

What she ate: Bouquet of chicken tenders from KFC

Yummy factor: When even the prettiest flowers get upstaged by crispy batter. We know exactly how Chantalle’s dog feels, pining for a taste of that chicken bouquet.

What they ate: Laksa prawn spaghetti, crispy chicken chop and fried onion blossom from Tender Fresh

Yummy factor: Well obviously we've got our eye on the onion blossom. Who even knew the common bulb could transform into a centrepiece like that?

Dawn Yeoh

What she drank: Choya Yuzu

Yummy factor: If citrusy cocktails are your jam, this dessert wine with a yuzu twist might be worth a shot. Choya Yuzu bombs are Dawn’s favourite as they’re the “most satisfying drink for tropical Singapore.”

What she ate: A customised cake from Baker’s Heart celebrating her husband Bryan Wong’s 50th birthday

Yummy factor: They totally knocked it out of the park with this cake. This artwork looks like it belongs on an ancient scroll rather than a cake that’s about to be sliced.

Sharon Au

Sharon Au

What she ate: Melon pan as big as her face and muskmelon parfait in Japan

Yummy factor: Even Sharon had to take a break from all ze French cuisine. Just kidding. She flew to Tokyo to surprise her "Papa", and to delight in irresistible Japanese goodies.

What she ate: Budae jjigae in Seoul

Yummy factor: How nifty is this apron situation? Hope Bonnie had more than her fill of Korean army stew during this trip. The sight of this bubbling chilli paste broth makes us salivate.

What he ate: Durians with his wife Irene Kng as soon as he returned to Singapore from Taiwan

Yummy factor: The durian cravings are real when you’re away. This might not be some romantic, candlelit homecoming dinner but something tells us it was no less satisfying.

Chen Yixin and Edmund Chen

What they ate: They decorated Mother’s Day cakes for Yixin’s mum and grandma

Yummy factor: Well this is some nice father-daughter bonding. The result looks 90% professional, with the wobbly “Ma” piping injecting just the right amount of endearing DIY-ness.

Jade Seah

Jade Seah

What she ate: Noodles at People’s Park Hawker Centre after boxing class

Yummy factor: Get a load of the generous minced meat and fish cakes. Jade’s hangry resting b*tch face probably vanished a minute into this meal.

Jamie Yeo

Jamie Yeo

What she ate: An early Mother’s Day lunch with her sister and mum at Verde Kitchen, where they had organic Malay-style chicken curry, pho, and green mango tiger prawns salad

Yummy factor: Mind you, everything was organic and this pho boasted grass-fed beef, basically spelling “fancy” to us. Only the best for mama!

Edmund Chen

What he ate: Noodles from Eng’s Wantan Noodle

Yummy factor: Edmund wrote that he braved the scorching heat to get his springy noodle fix. At the risk of being blinded by the sun, he even eked out a convincing smile, signaling that his stomach was 100% happy.

What he ate: Panda buns and other dim sum delicacies at Guan Dynasty

Yummy factor: As adorable as these panda buns are, our taste buds are more excited about the crispy roast meat in the back. Cutesy baos, you’ve been dethroned.

Liv Lo

What she ate: Spaghetti Bolognese at New World Petaling Jaya Hotel in Malaysia

Yummy factor: You’d never catch us eating this in our beds at home, especially on pristine white sheets. It’s hotel bed behaviour, and totally gratifying for that reason.
