What the stars ate this week

The stars sure had an indulgent week with all the celebrations and vacation feasting. Zoe Tay was pampered with teppanyaki cooked by her son; Zed Zed got a taste of Peking duck; Mark Lee enjoyed breakfast with a view, Rebecca Lim and her family made delicious bread; and Shaun Chen celebrated his daughter’s birthday. Read on for more!

Yummy factor: Thin, crisp, fat-lined skin without the wrap – yup, that’s how we like our Peking duck too. Who knew Zed Zed was such a discerning foodie?

What she ate: What looks like jajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce)

Yummy factor: We couldn’t help but chuckle as we watched Constance slurp her noodles while teaching us what not to do on a date. Thanks, Constance, maybe now we’d be able to get one!

Yummy factor: Belinda could not stop raving about how delish her friend’s homemade bak kut teh was: “The meat is so tender that it falls off the bone and melts in the mouth!” Mmm, wish we could try it too, Belinda!

What she ate: Le Feuille D’Automne

Yummy factor: Check out the gorgeous flowers on that chocolate cake. We would never have guessed that hours earlier, Jeanette had accidentally stabbed her own palm while decorating the cake. Get well soon, Jeanette, and we’re glad you at least enjoyed the cake!

What he ate: Frozen-themed cake for his daughter Nellie’s 3rd birthday

Yummy factor: The mint hue and fondant snowflakes are lovely, but it’s the toppers that take the cake (heh). Happy birthday, Nellie!

What she ate: Banana yoghurt bread loaf with roasted black sesame swirls

Yummy factor: Find a man who looks at you the way Becks gazes at that marbled creation. Jokes aside, the bread looks insanely soft, and the burst of flavour in your mouth as you take a bite of it must be on a whole new level.
