What she ate: Birthday cake from Jeffrey Xu

Yummy factor: “From now on, for your birthdays, you will have me by your side. When you are happy, I am happy,” Jeffrey wrote, hashtagging “my girl” and “I love you so much.” With a heart-melting caption like that, who’s paying attention to the cake?

What she ate: Black carrot cake at ABC Brickworks Market and Food Centre

Yummy factor: "My breakfast this morning was cereal, but because I arrived at my location at the wrong time, this is my second breakfast," Xiang Yun wrote, jokingly lamenting at having wasted her diet. (If it's any consolation, we'd choose carrot cake over a healthy diet any day!)

What she ate: The Gifted co-stars dined at Zhang Yaodong’s new fusion restaurant Maru to show their support, and Dawn opted for uni pasta.

Yummy factor: Despite the restaurant receiving some complaints days into opening, this dish looks tempting. Just imagine slurping up strands of pasta with individual ikura bursting against the roof of your mouth.

Noah Yap

What he ate: Noah feasted his way around Tokyo, indulging in vanilla ice cream banana chocolate crepe, takoyaki, and a fried variation of taiyaki – but we like Noah’s breathless all-caps description better: “THIS IS THE BEST EVER I AM NOT KIDDING IT’S LIKE A SUGARY RED BEAN BISCUIT KIND OF BREAD IDK HOW TO DESCRIBE.”

Yummy factor: Guy could not calm down, it was that good apparently.

What he ate: Pizza al fresco with a cute little sidekick

Yummy factor: “Finally not a mid-work lunch,” JJ hashtagged. Yup, stale desk lunches just can’t compare.

What they ate: Poop-shaped treats

Yummy factor: Zero. Regardless of how yummy these taste, nothing can convince us to bite into turd.

What she ate: Red bean snowflake ice with peanuts and jiggly-wiggly panna cotta from Smoothie House

Yummy factor: Tuck into this icy treat on a blistering day and feel instantly revived.

What she ate: Coffee over an “overdue catch up with hot mama” Carole Lin

Yummy factor: Carole commented, “Didn’t see you for so long but seems like we are more connected than before!” That’s the power of good coffee right there.

What he ate: Lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls at Luke’s Lobster Pop Up Shop in Tokyo

Yummy factor: Well this is a refreshing detour from the usual “ramen in Japan” food pic. Proclaimed the “Best Lobster Roll” by the likes of TimeOut and NewYork.com, Luke’s legendary Maine-style lobster roll, with succulent chilled lobster chunks served atop a buttered, griddled pillowy bun, is a must-try.

What he ate: His niece’s Guo Da Li (betrothal gifts) of cupcakes, éclairs, and cookies by La’Bonnie Patisserie

Yummy factor: What pretty wedding bakes – just make sure you don’t get a black frosting mustache after scarfing down the tuxedo cupcake.

Elvin Ng

What he ate: Fresh cut fruits

Yummy factor: Nothing like your own mug on the packaging to motivate you to get your daily serving of fruit.

Huang Biren

What she ate: A homemade butter cake that her friend self-delivered

Yummy factor: According to Biren, nothing lifts one’s bad mood like a bite of a caring friend’s homemade treat. It doesn’t have to look like the glamazon of cakes to warm the heart.

What he ate: Crab bee hoon and scallops with black bean sauce at Sin Huat Eating House

Yummy factor: When Anthony Bourdain raves about the crab bee hoon here, you know it’s the real deal. Just be ready to leave with your wallet feeling lighter ‘cos the grub here is costly. It is lavish seafood we’re talking about anyway.

Julie Tan

What she ate: Hot pot with former mentor Lee Wei Song

Yummy factor: The two reminisced about Julie’s years of training at Lee Wei Song School of Music when she was 15 years old. Hot pot, and the drawn-out process of eating it, is the perfect meal choice when you want to walk down memory lane.

What she ate: Soft-boiled eggs, toast and kopi with Chua Enlai

Yummy factor: There is literally no going wrong with a traditional breakfast like this. It’s one of the reasons we love living in Singapore.

Le Yao

What she ate: Fried chicken, fries, and mashed potatoes from KFC

Yummy factor: Her ecstatic expression says it all. If it doesn’t involve fried stuff, does it even count as a cheat day?

Yasminne Cheng

What she ate: Roasted mushrooms with a poached organic egg and Jamon Iberico at Artemis

Yummy factor: Yasminne called this “a party in a bowl.” We were already won over by the generous layers of Jamon Iberico.

One-handed breakfasts: Belinda Lee and Bonnie Loo

What they ate: Belinda had a McDonald’s breakfast wrap while getting hair and makeup done, while Bonnie grabbed a curry puff on-the-go

Yummy factor: Mornings are tough. Just ask Bonnie, who can hardly keep her eyes open. They might not be breakfasts of champions but these one-handed options get the job done. Sometimes you deserve a pat on the back just for FEEDING yourself.

Pat Mok

What she ate: Shirako (fish sperm)

Yummy factor: Fish sperm – or cod milt, a more palatable term – is touted for its sweet oceanic taste and soft creamy texture. But as convincing as Pat’s heart eye emojis are, we’ll pass.

What she ate: Bak chang (rice dumpling) on set

Yummy factor: These are so dense and filling, how Rozz, or anyone, is able to “snack” on FOUR glutinous rice dumplings is beyond us.

Jade Seah

Jade Seah

What she ate: Bak kut teh with Jaime Teo

Yummy factor: That’s a mighty attractive chunk of meat to tear your teeth into. But everyone knows one of the best parts of the bak kut teh experience is getting refills of the peppery broth.

Yummy factor: Not even kidding, this is probably the giddiest we've seen PM Lee, ever.
