Most Daring Cut-Outs: Joanne Peh (2010)
In 2010, Joanne made headlines when she showed up at the Star Awards in a black cut-out dress that revealed more than we bargained for. In case you’re wondering, we were referring to her rib cage. What were you thinking?

Most “Oscar-Worthy”: Jesseca Liu (2013)
If you can’t go to the Oscars, why not turn yourself into one? And dazzle while you’re at it.

Most Tastefully Naked: Felicia Chin (2016)
2016 was the year of the naked dress and the most provocative of them all was Felicia’s Paolo Sebastian gown. With only strategically-placed embroidery to protect her modesty, the see-through gown is so risqué, we don’t know where to look. 🙈

Most Eye-Popping: Ann Kok (2010)
At the other end of the spectrum is Ann in this body hugging Herve Leger mini that showed off her, erm, best assets.

Most Regal: Zoe Tay (2016)
The Queen of Stars Avenue, cape and all, took our breath away when she floated down the red carpet in this regal Valentino number. The only thing missing is a tiara.

Best Maternity Style: Fann Wong (2014)
Fann looked so gorgeous and radiant in this gold accented Bottega Veneta Grecian-style dress, we're almost tempted to get a bump.

Most Glamorous: Rebecca Lim (2014)
Becks cemented her status as a red-carpet winner when she arrived in a stunning haute couture Giambattista Valli gown. We love the peplum detail and beaded bodice that accentuated her figure.

Most Hair-Raising: Sora Ma (2013)
And we’re not just talking about the comb over on her head. Someone needs to get a chest wax stat.

Most Delicious: Jeanette Aw (2009)
Jeanette looked saccharine sweet in this pastel-striped dress, and all we could think of was biting into a rainbow kueh.

Best Use of Hollywood Tape: Constance Song (2012)
Constance set tongues wagging and the stage sizzling with this daring Jiki gown, which with its plunging neckline and bare back, is a recipe for wardrobe malfunction.

Most Unconventional: Rui En (2010)
Rui En borrowed from the guys and beat them at their game at the 2010 ceremony looking all glamorous and sultry in a tux. Our favourite part? The undone bow tie. Too bad she has regrets about the hair.

Most Reptilian: Joanne Peh (2013)
Need we say more?

Most 50 Shades: Patricia Mok (2010)
Pat is a whip and a pair of handcuffs away from channelling a dominatrix. Mr Grey would approve.

09 Apr 2018
Best Plumage: Rebecca Lim (2013)
A full feather dress can be hard to pull off without looking like a character from Sesame Street, but Becks does it with aplomb in this iridescent peacock feather from Burberry Prorsum.

Most Battle and Runway Ready: Jesseca Liu (2016)
If there ever were a gown that screams “I am powerful”, this is it.

09 Apr 2018
Most Over-The-Top: Liu Ling Ling (2016)
This 80s bridal gown meets showgirl costume is too outrageous even for a getai outfit.

09 Apr 2018
Most Red Hot: Chen Liping (2014)
Chen Liping looked beyond stunning in this scarlet flapper-style dress that showed off her curves. Her red lip added to the glamour of the beaded number.

Most Creative: Joanne Peh (2014)
Props to Joanne’s team who fashioned this “dress” out of four Hermes scarves. We need the online tutorial for this.
