Gigi Hadid isn't surprised she was rejected from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show for two years running.
The 20-year-old model, who walked for the lingerie brand last month, auditioned for the fashion extravaganza twice before and was rejected, but she has admitted she knew that would be the case because she was a nervous wreck.
Speaking on 'Live! With Kelly And Michael,' she said: "Last year I auditioned for the show and I wouldn't have put me on the show either. I walked in there and I was shaking."
The blonde beauty believes it was the call-back that let her down last year because she'd managed to charm bosses with her gorgeous looks, incredible body and charming personality in the first round but stumbled in the next.
She explained: "The call-back is a room this big with a full-on runway, 17 video cameras, a panel of 20 people that I had never met my first year and I was terrified."
And, although many people believe Gigi managed to land the Victoria's Secret gig this year around because of her high profile, the supermodel's mother Yolanda Foster has admitted her little girl worked really hard to make it.
She said previously: "She has worked really hard; this didn't just fall into her lap. She's missed it twice, this was her third try and she pulled it off and got a spot that millions and millions of beautiful women deserve as much as she does. That's a part of the game though."
