Ginta Lapina starts everyday with a super-healthy homemade breakfast.

The Latvian model maintains her lean frame by always opting for a nutritious morning meal of either an egg white only omelette or Greek yoghurt,

The 26-year-old beauty told Stylist magazine: "I never eat out for breakfast so I'd whip us up some egg white omelettes or Greek yoghurt with chia and pumpkin seeds and a pot of mint tea in my apartment overlooking Brooklyn."

Ginta was scouted at 15 years old and made her debut catwalk appearance at Benjamin Cho's spring show at New York Fashion Week in 2008, which led to her signing with MC2 Model Management.

She then went onto model for Oscar De La Renta, Prada and Marc Jacobs.

Despite her health conscious start to the day, Ginta will allow herself some indulgences later in the day and she particularly enjoys eating out at her favourite New York restaurants,

She shared: "For lunch, it would have to be Gemma at The Bowery Hotel in the Lower East Side. We'd order my go to dishes - artichoke salad with Parmesan and truffle vinaigrette, and Sicilian tuna with olives and green beans.

"Then we'd have afternoon tea with lemon and chocolate macaroons in the courtyard of SoHo's Ladurée.

"For dinner, we'd wander over to Bond Street in NoHo for chicken dumplings and a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc."
