Helen George looks like a "mouse" without make-up on.
The 'Call the Midwife' star has admitted she doesn't lack confidence when it comes to going bare-faced but she fears her tiny features are similar to that of a small rodent.
She explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm not one of those girls who can go make-up free. I've got small features and I look like a mouse if I don't use anything."
However, the 31-year-old actress has started paying more attention to her beauty regime since she hit the third decade of her life because she's worried about the future of her skin.
She said: "I'm really into serums and eye creams now, and every two weeks I have a facial which is like a deep tissue massage. It really hurts and the lady even puts her fingers inside your mouth to do it. I didn't believe it was going to make a difference, but it really does."
But, although she's keen to keep her youthful glow for as long as possible, the blonde beauty is adamant she'll never turn to Botox to banish her wrinkled and dehydrated complexion.
She added: "Some of my friends have started using Botox and I think, 'I actually really don't want this.' It's such a risk as a screen actress, I don't want to ruin my career."
