Jane Fonda says "reinvention" is the key to looking young.
The 77-year-old star claims staying "involved, passionate and curious" keeps her feeling youthful at heart.
She told the Los Angeles Times: "Not so much in relation to my career, but yes, in general, in life. Staying involved and passionate and curious helps one remain youthful for sure. There's the chronological issue [of age]; and chronologically, I could well be dead by now! I'm older than my father was when he died.
"But spiritually and energetically, I feel younger than when I was 20 and 30. Really, I'm not just saying that. It all has to do with attitude and how you see life. I wasn't happy back then when I was 20 and 30; I was depressed. Now I see my past, and I see a future - and I feel like it's going to be a good one. I feel light and grounded. I'm a very different person than when I was younger and I feel better about myself and my life."
Meanwhile, the 'Barbarella' actress previously admitted she finds it "weird" that she's considered a fashion icon at her age.
She said: "Isn't it weird? In my dotage! I think it's a hoot that, at my age, people are calling me a fashion icon."
