Khloe Kardashian works out to "release" her emotions.
The 'Strong Looks Better Naked' author spent the majority of 2015 on a mission to improve her health but quickly realised that exercising not only helped her to shed pounds, but also became a form of therapy.
The 34-year-old beauty said: "I started using the gym as my stress reliever... and as a byproduct of me finding an emotional release, I started losing weight.
"And I was like, 'OK I'm gonna now take this a little more seriously, I'm going to go to the gym more with a trainer, and I'm going to learn more about healthy eating tips, and I started making it a lifestyle."
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star - who has sisters Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashians, as well as half-sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner - has "changed her life" through learning how to turn negative events into positive driving forces.
Speaking about how she has handled stress in the past, Khloe told People: "I have changed my life -- I used to just accept the way people defined me. When people called me the fat sister, I'd say, 'Yeah I'm big boned.' Whatever we do to laugh at things instead of [letting] them hurt you."
