Khloe Kardashian: Kourtney and Kim took over kid's line

Khloe Kardashian has revealed her sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian West took over the design process of their Kardashian Kids collection as they have children of their own.

Khloe Kardashian got "shot down" by her sisters while designing their Kardashian Kids line.

The brunette beauty - who launched the collection with Kourtney, 36, and Kim Kardashian West, 34 - has revealed the pair were keen to take over the design process because they have kids of their own.

She said of Kourtney, who has Mason, five, Penelope, two and four-month-old Reign, and Kim, who has 22-month-old daughter North: "With Kardashian Kids, Kourtney and Kim, steer the ship on this one. I'd love to have an opinion - because I'm incredibly opinionated - but I get shot down a lot.

"My sisters are great, because - since they have kids - they know what works, and what pieces are needed and most functional."

Although Khloe, 30, insists she is always on hand to offer her styling tips.

She said: "I do love to recommend styles, silhouettes, and accessory pieces - like there's a jumpsuit whose silhouette I really love. And, my sisters are really adamant about the fabrics that kids like, and the quality and functionality of it."

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star also revealed the line is inspired by the youngsters' individual styles and describes them as "fashionistas in their own right."

Khloe told "Well, I think the style is more based off of Penelope, North, and Mason, to be honest with you, and how they're fashionistas in their own right. We definitely use them as inspiration, and the collection speaks to their personalities.

"It's funny what they tend to like; Penelope likes to dress herself, for example, and what she's drawn to is totally different than what North is drawn to. And, they're not even three years old yet! It's so entertaining to watch that."
