Lea Michele always has three nail polishes in her handbag for beauty emergencies.
The 29-year-old actress - who played the lead role as Rachel Berry in the American music drama series 'Glee' for six years - always has bottles of nude, red, and black polish, so she is never caught with chipped or scratched finger tips.
Speaking to PEOPLE magazine about her beauty possessions, the brunette beauty said: "Owning lots of colours can be overwhelming. I have three - a nude, a red and a black - which I keep in my purse in case I need to pop into a salon for a touch-up."
Meanwhile, the New York-born star - who became the spokesperson for the beauty brand L'Oréal Paris in September 2012 - has revealed she follows a daily hand care routine, which sees her massage cuticle oil for a DIY manicure.
She explained: "I rub cuticle oil around my nail bed every day to keep it moisturised. Plus, the oil makes your nails look shiny, like you just got a manicure."
Lea has recently confessed she rarely wears make-up because she likes to give her skin a break from cosmetics when she is not acting.
Speaking previously about her skincare routine, she said: "First and foremost, I don't wear makeup when I don't have to. When I'm out and about with friends and family, I'm not pounding makeup on my face - I'll put on mascara and lip balm and go about my day. I like to give my skin a chance to breathe when it needs to."
