The 29-year-old star and her twin sister Ashley have admitted they prefer to physically go into shops to buy their clothes because they enjoy the shopping experience, which allows them to "see, touch and feel" their potential wardrobe staples rather than hunt for items at home via the e-store.

Speaking to about their browsing preference, Mary-Kate said: "I''ve never purchased anything online."

Ashley added: "I would agree. I prefer to see, touch, feel, and experience."

Meanwhile, the duo have been credited as the sisters with the best style and "impeccable taste".

Speaking previously about her siblings' style, Elizabeth Olsen, 27, said: "They have impeccable taste and what they make is mind-blowing. I'm not remotely as cool as either of them and I often feel like I don't have as many options clothing-wise as they are very petite."

The 'Captain America: Civil War' actress - who has reprised her role as the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Comic sequel alongside Robert Downey Junior and Chris Evans - has admitted she fears being "judged" on her outfits and believes the comparison between her and her sisters will never stop.

She said: "You know you're going to be compared [with them] for the rest of your life."

Mary-Kate and Ashley, who launched their ready to wear fashion line in 2006 and have received three Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards recognising them and bagged the CFDA Award for Womenswear Designers of the Year in 2012, have opened their second store on 17 East 71st Street, in New York last week.

Speaking about their plans for the future of the New York store, the entrepreneurs - who opened their first store in Los Angeles - Mary Kate said: "Being able to think about exclusive products for here or there. And testing product .

"Shopping can be a little uninspiring now, so I think if we can bring a little bit of that experience wherever we are to stay, that's great. That was our ultimate goal when we started--to bring an experience to life, and we're making it happen."

Ashley explained: "It's also the first time we're launching shoes, so that will be interesting ."
