Salma Hayek has had to have her hair cut short for her role in 'Drunk Parents'.
The 49-year-old actress is to star alongside Alec Baldwin in the upcoming comedy which is about married couple the Teagartens who get intoxicated after dropping their daughter off at college and end up on an adventure of mishaps which includes a kidnapping.
Salma has had to have her long locks lopped off for the part and she has unveiled the fresh look on her Instagram account insisting she "don't care" about having "short hair".
Along with a selfie of her new style, Salma wrote the caption: "New haircut for my new comedy, Drunk Parents! #comedy #selfie #new #hair #drunk #parents #shorthairdontcare (sic)"
The photo shows Salma - who has eight-year-old daughter Valentina with her husband François-Henri Pinault - with a lob-length chop with bouncy ends meaning the screen beauty has lost some serious centimetres from her once chest-length hair.
'Drunk Parents' will be directed by Fred Wolf - whose previous work includes 'The House Bunny' - and will be co-produced by Robert Ogden Barnum.
Speaking about the movie, Robert previously said: "Alec and Salma are both incredibly charismatic, hilarious talents ... paired together with this brilliant writing, audiences are going to love watching these two beautiful people take on all odds in 'Drunk Parents'."
