A glass eye, false teeth, a kitten, and a bearded dragon have topped the list of bizarre items left on a buses.
Over the last 12 months, the lost property department at Transport for Edinburgh, located at the Travelshop on Hanover Street, has collected hundreds of items left by Lothian bus passengers.
The bus firm has revealed estranged pets and false teeth have been returned to their owners - although it is not known what happened to the glass eye.
The weird items are few and far between in comparison to the most lost common possessions, which include; mobile phones, teddies, suitcases, handbags and passports - many of which are usually returned to their owners.
Anything which is not collected within the first four weeks of the items being found are given to charity.
