A woman found a live spider in her ear.
Victoria Price from Porthcawl, South Wales, thought she had suffered from a perforated eardrum or a severe ear infection when she started feeling an intense pain inside her organ, and on rushing to A&E medics discovered the large creepy crawly had nestled itself inside, and was still alive.
Speaking to Wales Online, Sarah Gaze, the nurse who removed the spider from Victoria's ear, said: "The spider was visible in Victoria's inner ear and it came out quite easily. But it was alive and very wriggly. It was quite big too. It must have been twice as big as it first looked."
Fortunately, the eight-legged animal hadn't caused any damage to Victoria's ear, and didn't choose the ear as her breeding ground to plant her spider eggs.
