A man who lives next to a beach has complained to the council about the sand blocking his drains.
Peter Alexander has contacted Sedgemoor District Council after he became concerned about the amount of sand drifting from the beach in Somerset blocking up the roads, but has claimed "nobody wants to take responsibility" for the mess.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The wall blocking sand at the top of Poplar Road has been damaged by vandals.
"When people clear up the sand they dump it over the wall where it blows back again with the next strong wind."
And Peter isn't the only person to complain about the sandy situation as Sedgemoor District Council has admitted it receives "four or five complaints about sand a year."
Adrian Gardener, of the Environmental Services team, said: "We routinely clean and sweep the road but there are always going to be issues. It is not something we can ever solve, we just have to manage it the best we can."
But the council team has admitted the sand issue has worsened recently because it's been windier than usual.
