Piotr Janowski covered his entire house, in Tarpon Springs, Florida, in tin foil as part of his first ever outdoor art installation.
Nearby residents called his landlord to check if the trees - which he'd also wrapped in tin foil - were doing okay, and to complain about the aluminium house.
Piotr, 53, who is originally from Poland, told the Tampa Bay Times: "This is art. In their thick bureaucratic books, I'm sure they have nothing against this."
However, the artist gave into the complaints and rolled his tin foil house into an enormous ball to some nearby recycling bins.
