A man has had a 55kg tumour removed from his leg.
Gurmeet Singh underwent surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India, to have the huge mass - which weighed one and a half times his size, the Daily Star newspaper reports.
Dr Durgatosh Pandey, a consultant in surgical oncology at the hospital, said: "It is nothing less than a miracle that despite having a malignant tumour for eight years, he is still alive.
"We were surprised to found the weight of the tumour had surpassed the body weight. It is probably the largest malignant tumour ever removed in the world."
