Pigeons helped police bust a £48,000 cannabis operation.
Cops from Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside were left confused when they saw over 300 pigeons sitting on the roof of a nearby building, which wasn't frosted like the others, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports.
The birds appear to have been attracted to the roof by the hydroponic lamps used to help advance the plants' growth.
Chief Inspector Jonathan Davies said: "This recovery was a result of officers identifying one of the many potential indicators for a cannabis farm. The growing of cannabis brings dangers to neighbouring properties."
