Laurie Anderson has held a concert for dogs at Times Square in New York.
The 68-year-old singer-and-visual-artist - who has directed a film about the death of her own pup titled 'Heart of a Dog' - performed a series of catchy songs in front of 50 mutts and 100 humans at the major commercial neighbourhood.
The talented performer even had the music set to a frequency so only the dogs could hear it and, towards the end of her set, even tried to get the four-legged creatures barking along.
An attendee told The Guardian newspaper: "Oh, it was lovely. There was so many types of dogs, I really hadn't imagined that many would show up. I was really impressed."
