A mother has knitted a life-size model of her son.
Marieke Voorluijs, from the Netherlands, spent two months making a replica of her beloved little boy to cuddle after he hit puberty and refused to show her affection anymore.
The giant doll, made completely of wool, sports a baseball cap, over-sized watch and has headphones around his neck.
Writing on Bored Panda , she said: "My son is reaching puberty. We used to cuddle all the time, but those days are becoming scarce. Now he'd rather hang with friends, play with his phone and listen to his iPod."
Marieke, who knits other items for her brand Club Geluk, decided to make the life-sized doll to help other "smother mothers" who feel neglected by their grown-up children.
