A man has claimed to have lost a stone after giving up food for Lent and drinking beers instead.
Del Hall, from Cincinatti, Ohio was shocked by how much weight he had lost recently, and he revealed his diet has changed dramatically as he replaced solid grub with alcohol, coffee and water.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: "I'm having anywhere from two to five beers a day, I'm not necessarily drinking in the morning, I'm not a breakfast person, so I get up, I have some water and I have a black coffee, no sweetener, no dairy in it, just black coffee.
"I have my first beer sometime in the afternoon and then I might have one when I'm feeling peckish.
"I didn't partake but the cravings were intense. Days four and five the hunger started to subside and day six and seven I really haven't had any hunger."
