Uprooted tree leads police to huge cocaine lab

An uprooted tree led to the discovery of one of the Netherlands' largest cocaine labs.

Clean up workers were removing the fallen tree after a storm this week when they noticed a chemical smell and spotted "suspicious" men walking around a nearby farmer's shed.

The local authorities said in a statement: "Police were called and agents discovered the laboratory in the shed."

The lab was described as "one of the largest discovered to date in the country", and while police wouldn't say how much cocaine was found, they admitted that it will take "several days" to take the shed apart.
