The Singapore Media Festival, hosted by the Info-communications Media Development Authority is set to become one of Asia’s leading international media events, where the industry meets to discover the latest trends, talents and content in Asia for Film, TV and digital media. Taking place from 23 November 2017 to 3 December 2017, the Singapore Media Festival brings together established media events such as the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF), Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) and ScreenSingapore, the Asian Television Awards (ATA) and SMF Ignite. Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF)

Founded in 1987, the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) is the largest and longest-running film event in Singapore. It has become an iconic event in the local arts calendar that is widely attended by international film critics, and known for its dynamic programming and focus on ground-breaking Asian cinema for Singapore and the region.

In its 28th edition this year, the SGIFF stays committed to nurture and champion local and regional talent.

Asian Television Awards (ATA)

Launched in 1996, Asian Television Awards (ATA) is the Asian TV industry’s most significant and celebrated event, recognising excellence in programming, production and performance.

In its 22nd edition this year, ATA continues to encourage content creators in Asia to present the world’s best stories, acknowledge and reward creative and programming excellence.

In 2016, ATA has expanded its footprint with the live and delayed telecasts with an increase in 8 channels, bringing the number of broadcast platforms to 21 channels, reaching more than half a billion viewers across Asia and beyond.

SMF Ignite

VR X SMF Ignite

Organised in conjunction with MediaCorp’s Bloomr Creators x SMF Ignite aims to equip digital creators with skills that revolve around storytelling, integration and pitching.
